Everyone knows Batman! He’s been around since 1939; first appearing in Detective Comics Number #27. Today there is tens of thousands of toys, comic books; and everything from toothbrushes to bed sheets with Batman on it.
Is he a superhero? Until the 90s he was more of a detective using technology and cool gadgets we all wish we could have as a kid.
In the 90s his image changed to The Dark Knight; more of a anti-hero using violence as well as technology.
Some of the best Batmobiles were based on the popular 1966 TV show; both Corgi and Husky put out Batmobiles. Almost every little boy had one.
Batman is probably the only character that has been made by almost every toy company whether diecast model kits, action figures, board games, video games and anything else you can imagine.
