Since the comics boom in the 1960’s, it came to no surprise that companies released merchandise to follow! Although, one that stood out the most as know was … The Super Powers Collection!

This was a line of action figures based off of the DC Comics Superheroes and Supervillains by Kenner Products in the 1980’s.

While the first series included more popular characters, the second series featured figures from Jack Kirby’s New Gods Saga, and the third combined DC acquisitions from other companies and figures created solely for the line by Kenner.

Even though after only three years of production the line closed, they are still considered to be the pinnacle of super hero toys after all this time!
