LJN was the frist toy company to make figures based on the WWF. These toys were in production from 1984 to 1989, and were made out of a solid rubber. Standing at an average of eight inches tall, they towered over the usual GI Joes and Star wars figures of the era.
Unlike some of the figures of the ear, the rubber was hard, and these figures were not articulating, and came with minimal, if any accessories. That didn’t stop them from being wildly popular in their time. These toys were nearly indestructable, save for some pain damage or the family pet getting a hold of them.

Even now they are still popular to collectors who are nostalgic for the “good old day of wrestling.”

LJN was a toy and video game company founded in 1970 and closed their doors in 1995. In that time they came out with many toy lines but the WWF Wrestling lines put them in the toy Hall of Fame.
