This year is Batman’s 85th Anniversary! This week we will be featuring things from our Batman section in celebration, as well as playing the Batman Animated Series cartoon this Saturday!

Batman’s rogues gallery is one of the most iconic in comic book history, featuring a diverse array of villains each with unique traits and motivations. The Penguin, a cunning crime lord with a penchant for birds and sophisticated schemes, contrasts with Bane, the physically formidable foe who famously broke Batman’s back. The Riddler challenges Batman’s intellect with his complex puzzles, while Harley Quinn, the Joker’s unpredictable and acrobatic partner, adds a chaotic element. Poison Ivy, with her control over plants and seductive allure, poses a deadly environmental threat. Scarecrow uses fear as his weapon, employing his expertise in psychology and fear toxins to terrorize Gotham. Two-Face, once the noble Harvey Dent, embodies duality and moral conflict, his actions determined by the flip of a coin. Together, these villains create a formidable opposition to the Dark Knight, testing his limits and defining his legacy as Gotham’s protector.
