Hey Cobras!
The X-Men are the mutant superhero team brought together by Charles Xaiver, using their unique abilities to help those in need and face the bigotry and discrimination them and their fellow mutants face day by day. The X-Men team first appeared in comic books back in 1963, but was cancelled in 1970 due to low sales. They were brought back in 1975 with a new writer and a new direction for the series, and became one of Marvel’s most recognizable teams. Featuring heroes like Phoenix, Cyclops, Rogue, Gambit, Storm, Wolverine, Beast, Jubilee, and more, the team has their own expansive roster of heroes to throw to work together.
The X-Men have seen success in live-action films, several cartoons, an expansive comic book history, tons of toylines, video games, and more. The X-Men are being showcased this July as part of our “Super July” social media event, where we will be posting about various heroes in anticipation and celebration of the now released movies “Superman” and “Fantastic Four: First Steps”!
