Disney has been bringing a lot of their Disney Afternoon shows back with reboots and references, bringing Ducktales back in 2017, and most recently the new Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers movie. There’s been hints in both for a Darkwing Duck reboot, however nothing has been said directly by Disney yet.
Disney Afternoon was a two hour block that played shows like Chip n’ Dale Rescue Rangers, Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Mighty Ducks, TaleSpin, Adventures of Gummi Bears, Gargoyles, Goof Troop, Bonkers, Quack Pack and more. Ducktales was the first show, and soon served as a launching pad to what would become Disney Afternoon.
