2007 marked the year of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero toyline’s 25th anniversary!

To pay tribute to this special year, Hasbro released the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero 25th Anniversary collection which included 3 ¾ sized figures inspired by the designs of the best-known and popular characters of the toyline.

These newly sculpted figures increased their mobility beyond the typical shoulder, elbow, and knees to swivel wrists, ankles, and double-hinged knees.

Originally, this line was not planned to be a fully G.I. Joe toyline, but it was so well received by retailers that it inevitably did!
